Fisherman on the Horizon

While my friend and I were at this sandbar in Palawan, thinking that we were alone, this lone fisherman just calmly appeared out of the water and started walking along the edge of the shore. Since he didn't really pay us any mind and he looked like he was totally focused on fishing, I thought it would be great to take a photo of him while he was thus unguarded.

Tout casse, tout passe, tout lasse, excepté le souvenir.Everything breaks, everything passes, everything wearies, except the memory.

@Garibaldi: Grazie mille per le parole consiglianti! That beach is one of my most favorite ones -- it's deserted and the water is absolutely amazing. (By the way, ho studiato la fotographia a Firenze e manco a l'Italia. So I guess I'll just check out your photos when I want to see Italy again. :-) ) thanks for visiting my blog

I have to agree with Garibaldi. The sea looks great with its different colors - from white to dark blue. You take really beautiful portraits!

Next stop: Palawan! haha..

my father teached me the eyes' use ........in fact i registered all things in my mind ...may be the reaso i took pictures too ..stopped moments ........video is only for friends who are boring to look at pictures ..... so nice to rob pics.thanks for all .......

@jack: yes i agree. i believe that the ability of a photo to freeze a singular moment in time can be much more powerful than video. hope i can get to see some of your work someday.
