After a tiring two-hour climb up, down, through and around the rice terraces in Batad, we finally reach this lonely spot...
Tout casse, tout passe, tout lasse, excepté le souvenir.Everything breaks, everything passes, everything wearies, except the memory.
woahhhh. love how the waterfall is captured..the texture of the water as it hits ground zero..amazing.

@Tricia: thanks mucho! :-) the four of us in my group were the only people there at the time... the "silence" (even with the deafening roar of the waterfalls in the background) was amazing
cool.

@Michael Skorulski: thanks mucho! :-) it was definitely more dramatic in black and white. :-)
Great b&w capture Tanya. Banaue is beautiful!!!
Just came from Banaue-Sagada a week ago, but unfortunately wasn't able to visit Batad because we opted to spend more time in Sagada..

@Ken: Gracias! We really wanted to go to Sagada but, unfortunately, the spirit was willing but the flesh was weak. Haha. Sagada will have to wait another time. You should definitely check out Batad next time you're over there. :-)
This is a very nice waterfall photo. Good job!
