A Pacific Landmark

@Paulo Jorge Oliveira: Obrigado, Paulo. :-) I was on a little boat, about 5 minutes into the island and when I looked behind us, I just had to get this shot. Glad I did.

@Jerry: Thanks Jerry! :-) It was pretty tough getting that shot too. That was the scene behind us so I had to lean over the side of the boat a little bit just to avoid the wake. The sky was absolutely perfect that day and I was really happy with the results from my then brand new Nikon D80. :-)

@badala: Obrigado muito! :-) This was one of my first shots using a digital SLR. I couldn't really view the LCD monitor properly when I took this shot so I was mighty glad it came out well. :-)

@Jackgirl: Thanks Jackgirl! :-) It was just one of those days and I was just lucky to be there. This is what convinced me to jump on the digital bandwagon (it was my first time using a digital SLR). :-) And I was relieved I didn't need to edit it.
